Ssese Islands are inhabited by the Bantu-speaking Bassesse tribe, closely related to the Baganda and the Basoga speaking a similar though district language. The northwestern part of Lake Victoria in Uganda and are coterminous with the Kalangala District in Southern Central Uganda which does not have any territory on the mainland.

It is located approximately 51 kilometers across water Southwest of Entebbe in Wakiso District on the Uganda mainland.

Day 1

After breakfast, our driver guide will transfer you to Entebbe up to Nakiwogo landing site at around midday where you will have some snacks as you are walking to take off at 2pm using a ferry to cruise you up to Ssese Islands. The ferry will dock at around 6pm to Kalangala Ssese Islands.

After docking our tour guide will take you up to the lodge for supper and relaxation.

Day 2

After early morning breakfast, our tour guide will pick you up and guide you for a nature walk. You will have a chance to walk along the forest and watch different tree species and birds plus monkeys come back to the hotel around 1 pm to have lunch and rest.

In the afternoon you will go swimming, then in the evening after supper, you will enjoy a campfire and drinks. Then you can go to bed at around 10 pm.

Day 3

Very early in the morning, at around 6:30 am prepare and go to the ferry where you will be transported back to Entebbe.
